How do I properly open SteamVR & VR titles?

*This article is applicable to both operators of VR Arcades and operators of VR labs & maker spaces at educational institutions.*

If you open any VR title (including the SpringboardVR Launcher) before you open SteamVR sometimes you will run into errors that show up on the SteamVR window that is displayed on your station's desktop. In that case the best practice for opening up SteamVR and any VR title, (including the SpringboardVR Launcher) for daily use is the following: 

1. Open Steam on your computer.
2. Launch SteamVR from within Steam and make sure all the items in the SteamVR status box are lit up green & ready. (This should start the launcher automatically if you have it turned on).
3. Now SteamVR is ready to run the launcher or VR content.

Following this order will help ensure that there are no SteamVR errors when starting up any of your VR titles or the SpringboardVR Launcher.
