3. Pricing & Distribution

Pricing Your Content for Distribution on SpringboardVR

  1. Start by setting the prices for your content.
    • As the developer, you have full control over pricing your title. Our current price per minute suggestion is $.06 or lower.
    • Feel free to read our Pricing & Distribution Guidelines which provides more in-depth information about determining a fair price for your content.
  2. PPM
    • Locations can choose to license your content on a per-minute fee basis.
  3. Monthly Price
    • Operators can choose to license your content on a flat monthly, per station basis.
  4.  Yearly Price
    • Operators can choose to license your content on a flat yearly, per station basis.
  5.  Per-Play Price (Coming Soon)
    • Operators can choose to license your content on a Per Play basis, meaning they will be charged whenever the content is played.
    • This option comes with the ability to set a minimum playtime in seconds to avoid operators getting billed for launching your content by mistake. We suggest that you make your content free for the first 60 seconds. This applies only to Per Play Pricing.
  6. Regional Pricing & Distribution
    • Regional Adjusted Pricing allows operators to be charged a fair rate based on the Purchasing Power Parity for their country.
    • If you disable this, every operator will be charged at the same rate, making it less likely for developing countries to offer your content.
      Content_Creator_Regional_Pricing.png
  7. You can manually adjust prices for each individual country. Click into the box containing the price and adjust it accordingly.
    • Prices in blue are the prices you manually updated.
    • If you want to set the price back to the Regional Adjusted Price suggestion, backspace to clear out the entire price then click out of the box and it will automatically adjust back.
  8. You can also select which countries you want to distribute your title to.
    • NOTE: If you decide you want to change the countries you distribute to after you continue, you will have to contact SpringboardVR.
  9. Finally, choose which types of institutions you want to offer your content to. To learn more about these two types of institutions, read our article about Entertainment versus Educational Institutions.
  10. If you are ready to move on to the next step click "Save & Go to Next Step" or click "Save & Exit" if you want to continue this step later.

5. End-User License Agreement

Creating & Uploading Your EULA

SpringboardVR wants to help you protect your Content, so we require that you upload a Commercial End User License Agreement (EULA). A EULA is a legal contract between you and the end-user of your Content. In this case, the end-user is the Operator (the arcade, family entertainment center, or educational organization). A EULA contains legal clauses including a license grant, restrictions on use, liability limits, and other terms and condition governing the use of your Content. For your protection, we require all Operators to accept your EULA before they can access your Content.

  1. The final step before publishing your content is uploading a EULA.
  2. If you already have a EULA, upload it on this page.
  3. If you do not have a EULA, we suggest you seek the advice of your legal professional.
    • NOTE: SpringboardVR does not warrant or endorse any EULA generator and you use one at your own risk.
  4. If you are ready to publish your content click "Save & Publish" or click "Save & Exit" if you want to come back to this later.
    • NOTE: You will not be able to publish your content if your tax information is still pending.
