What's the difference between New Price & Price Change?

Follow

There are two different types of pricing notifications in your SpringboardVR account, Price Change and New Price. Both appear as blue notifications in the Marketplace and My Library. To see the details of the pricing update click into the title.

Price Change means there has been an update to an existing price. For example a Content Creator may choose to increase the cost of their title and the notification could read, "Price Per Minute increases to 6¢ on December 31st, 2019".

New Price means there is a new licensing option available for a title. This could be the addition of a monthly or yearly licensing option. The new additions will be labeled with "New" in front of the licenses type.

Since all our session tracking for content is done in the UTC time zone, price changes happen at midnight UTC.
